The 2010 Jamboree Workshop is dedicated to the memory of Dorothy Denman, coordinator of two Jamborees,

and Margie Whaley, our line dance friend from Waco.  We miss them.

2010 Workshop, April 15-17.  Howdy!  The Farmers Branch “Wild Wild West” Jamboree Line Dance Workshop cut loose on April 15 with the Thursday night open dance and continued right through Friday and Saturday.  We began the Workshop with a quick teach and dance of Lost At Sea With Dorothy D in memory of Dorothy Denman.  We also held another open dance Friday night... and we enjoyed our mystery guests, Jean and Wade Vick.

All in all, it was a boot slappin’ good time!  We want to thank all of our friends for their continued support and presence at the Workshop.  We love you all dearly!

The annual Workshop is where dances nominated for the current year’s Jamboree are introduced and taught.   Thirteen dances were taught this year.  The voting is complete and the results are in... the new dances for 2010 are listed on the Workshop page... look for the "" on the dance list about the middle of the page!  There was a tie for eighth place, so as in the past, rather than break the tie we'll have 9 new dances this year.  See you in San Antonio at the Jamboree on October 15-16!

We hope you'll return to the 2011 Workshop to carry on the tradition of Fun and Friendship with our Family of line dancers.  Next year's Workshop is planned for April 14-16, 2011!

Workshops 2008 & 2009.  Remember last year?!  We had a great time rockin' and rollin' "At the Hop" in 2009.  And we had a rip-roarin’ good time at the "Best Little Workshop in Texas" in 2008.   We have some pictures  on the bottom of the Workshop page to refresh your memories.  See y’all at the 2011 Workshop!
